Season’s Greetings
For the past 68 days, blue skies poetry has featured work by a different Alberta poet each day, as we explored the idea of “Home and Away,” and how that idea has shaped our lives. Dymphny and I hope you have enjoyed these poems, written by some of Alberta’s finest poets, and we hope the project has challenged you to think about your notion of what “home” is and to see your own home anew.
We cordially invite you to join us for three book launches planned for January.
blue skies poetry will be on hiatus over the holidays and will return to its regular schedule beginning January 4, 2010, at which time you can look forward to reading new work by Canadian and international poets twice a week.
In the meantime, please send your submissions of up to 3 poems in the text of an email message to akublik@blueskiespoetry.ca. This is an open call for submissions, and poems on all themes/topics are welcome. Simultaneous submissions are accepted, but we do not consider previously published material. Please include a short bio with your submission.
Season’s Greetings,
Angela Kublik and Dymphny Dronyk
