rhyming with water
rhymes around us
not heroic, but acrostic vowel sounds
lapping and release
holding you in my arms at night
in sighs and love, as the diphthong in
sail
a heavy-rusted-chain
absolutely anchored in
the seabed
tightening kerning before we sleep
interlocking fingers, diving
deeper
